The Barents Sea Conference 2011 - HIGH PRESSURE IN THE NORTH

The Minister for Petroleum and Energy will be here in Hammerfest, together with representatives from the Norwegian Conservative and Progress parties. CEO Søren Gath Hansen from Dong Energy in Copenhagen will be here to tell us about his company and their ambitions in the north. Trades union leader Leif Sande will also be attending the conference.

The Round Table Conference will discuss the topic "Oil industry challenges - stagnation, decline or growth?" The debate, held in Norwegian only, will be moderated by the expert award-winning journalist and author Alf Reidar Jacobsen.

Aker Solutions Åsmund Bøe will be presenting "Technology, Experience and Expertise in the Arctic". The Managing Directors of Norwegian companies North Energy and Det Norske will also be at the conference.

Eni Norge, BIS Industrier, Petro Arctic and Arctic Protection will also be at the most important oil industry meeting place in Northern Norway.
